Chemical Immersion Stripping
Our famous Alkaline immersion stripping and de-rusting process has been the industry leader for over 30 years. This chemical immersion process strips accumulated paints, tough epoxies, lacquers, enamels, acrylics, plastisols, rubber, tar, glue, and undercoatings from steel, iron, and stainless steel parts. Our large immersion tanks can strip parts as small as motorcycle tanks to large automobile body shells. Media Blasting
Fine media blasting is a process that will efficiently and effectively clean metal parts for painting or coating. Pro-Strip Indy utilizes a variety of media in our two large 24’ deep media blast rooms and multiple blast cabinets. Combined with our metal stripping methods, Pro-Strip Indy has the ability to remove coatings almost impossible by media blasting alone. Pyrolytic Thermal Oven Stripping
Pro-Strip Indy’s multiple thermal stripping ovens allow for quick and efficient stripping of paint, coatings and other substrates from metal parts. Coatings on metals are heated and “burned off” in large specialized ovens leaving only inorganic ash which is removed by a water rinse. Thermal oven stripping can be used as a stand-alone process for industrial applications or in conjunction with our other metal cleaning processes. Aluminum Chemical Stripping
Aluminum and other soft metals can be difficult to remove old or unwanted paints and coatings without damaging the metal substrate. Pro-Strip Indy has the ability to remove these advanced coatings designed for extreme durability and chemical resistance from aluminum and other metals. Epoxy coatings, powder coatings, electro-coat coatings, polyurethanes, and UV/EB coatings are removed by chemical submersion, leaving the original clean metal surface. Aluminum is a soft metal and can be easily damaged using mechanical stripping methods. Automotive Body Immersion Stripping
Pro-Strip Indy has been the leader in Automotive Body Chemical stripping for over 30 years. Dipping cars and body parts are our specialty and our immersion stripping and de-rusting process is the most thorough and safest in the industry. Parts are run through a multi-stage process finishing up with a neutralizing Alkaline bath, then a thorough rinse and application of rust-inhibiting pacification.
